Since I became a Christian, God has been revealing his plan for my life through his word. Everyday as I search the scriptures my view of the world changes. I would like to share with you what he lovingly opens my eyes to.

The Love Of Christ Constrains Us
She was despised, no one wanted to be associated with her. A harlot they called her and each day she felt alone. She knew in her heart that she was a sinner doing what was wrong. Ever felt this way?
According to the religion of the pharisees she would never make it to heaven for she wasn't perfect like they were. One day she met a man who called her by name and took notice of her. A man who was not afraid to be associated with her or even come to her home. A man who spoke encouraging words and was willing to take the time to listen to her. Her heart was filled with joy, a smile came on her face and for the first time in long time she felt loved. He seemed to speak only hope to her discouraged soul, every word brought peace to her heart. It's his unconditional love for her a sinner that lead her to pour out her expensive perfume. Gratitude filled her heart for he did not hesitate to forgive all her sins. She had sinned over and over again but he never condemned her. I have been humbled this day by the goodness of the Lord towards me. Gods love shines brightest in the dark times or rather in those times when you think he will never forgive you. When you know deep in your heart that he will not forgive you because you have failed him a thousand times, that is when he manifests the fullness of his love. I am reminded of the prodigal son, when he started his journey back home he was sure the father would not want much to do with him. In fact he was willing to be a servant, but to his amazement the father put the finest robe on him and threw a party. It is this love that constrains us to give our all to God. As you go through the day, spend sometime to reflect of Gods goodness to you.
Be Blessed!
