All To Bring You Glory

I just got home and decided to spend some time listening to a sermon. One that has really opened my eyes to see the character of the God we serve. Language can never begin to even describe the magnitude of Gods love, we can only see glimpses of it.





Today I have been able to understand that God the father gave his son and this was not an easy thing to do. We are told in the bible that God is love and that is his character. He lives to give to others and loves to please others. It is because of his love that we are surrounded by immeasurable blessings in our life. I took the time to think of the blessing in my own life and realize that though unworthy he loves me enough to place high value on me. I see my shortcoming and understand fully that I do not deserve anything from him. I try to contemplate why he lavishes me with such love that he even died for me. Why he wakes me up in good health, sends angels to guard me wherever I go and brings me home safe, why he feeds me with good food daily. He cloths me, gives me a job that is just right for me and sends the Holy spirit to live within me. All this leaves me with one question, what can I do to repay him. I have asked God to place in my heart a deep love for him too and it is my desire that everyday I live to bring him Glory. Its my desire that in all I do, I bring glory to him who is worthy of all praise and honor. Most importantly I long for that day when I will thank him face to face. When I will get to sing his praises for eternity. I have also been humbled by the words of a song All to Bring You Glory
